BLOG 4: The Fatherhood
We will reflect on the changes & challenges of modern Fatherhood bassed on the videos exposed in class, and the conclusions that i made. First, I want to clarify that this isn’t an absolute true, it’s only my way to see this phenomenon of society. in the two videos shown in class, “Teaching Fatherhood” and the extact of “Changing lanes” I see how men have a disadvantage in favor of the women, but I see it in a forced way. I think it’s okey to show how parents lose custody of their children, but not reach the level of victimizing parents because they are men. In the first video of African-American parents who are in a class, I think that we want to impose the vision of a conventional family, but in our era, it’is already very difficult to find such a family. I grew up alone with my dad and that didn't translate into me a different attitude. I know cases in which they grow up only with the mother and I don't see the relief. I feel that the genders is doe
